I am currently reading Abdi Assadi's amazing book, "Shadows on the Path". The most sought after acupuncturist in NYC, Abdi's book is a revelation for me. Since I have a lot of darkness (and am secretly of the Goth persuasion) and rally against any self-help literature that suggests the possibility of un-interupted bliss, the book is a total hit with me. "Shadows" is helping me to learn how to incorporate rage, and funnel it in positive directions. . like at the NYU frat boys that dare to cross Seventh Avenue! But for reals, I especially love the chapters "The Holy Grail of Romantic Relationships" and "Addiction Masquerading as Spirituality." Both are a wake-up cry to the false ways we perceive our relationships and our bodies. . Or maybe it's just a lame excuse to stay home and read rather than jump on the cardio-mill. But whatever the case, I am the proud peddler of "Shadows on the Path" which is currently available at only three physical locations world-wide. . . One of those three is Seagull, where, If you ask me, you can hear me rant for an hour about my newest life-altering obsession. For just nineteen, little-money dollars, you too can learn put your rage on the page. Right where it belongs. Love, Shaun
p.s. Johanna loves it too.
Update: Now available on Amazon.com

Well, apparently this isn't only Seagull's favorite book of the summer! Check out the 'coverage' this book is getting on the internet:
