We've been meaning to blog about our Seagull's BFF Castor & Pollux for some time now. The women's boutique located just down the street from us is owned and operated by Kerrilynn Pamer. Like many of the Seagulls, Kerrilynn is also originally from the Pacific Northwest. Portland to be exact. Originally located in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, Castor & Pollux re-opened their doors on West 10th Street in March of 2006 (Within a month of Seagull's current incarnation). The space it's self is open and airy making it conducive to shopability and makes you never want to leave. Kerrilynn has a keen eye when it comes to choosing her designs(Johanna loves the dresses), very good taste in accessories (Shaun has a drawer full), and the store's atmosphere has been described as "luxe Boheme" in the New York Times Style Magazine

Who are the people in yer neighborhood? Castor & Polluxs' Kerrilynn Pamer
On June 13th from 1-5pm, Castor & Pollux is hosting a dog adoption in the store, with pet advocacy group Found My animal, which you can read more about on her blog.
Stop in and have a look. There's been some great sale items lately. And if you come in on June 13, you may very well leave with a new furry friend.
