You can catch writer, performer and Seagull VIP client Sacha Yanow currently performing as ruthlessly ambitious video artist Portia Morrison in Room for Cream, the white-hot live lesbian soap opera recently hailed by New York Magazine as "Best Lesbian Meetup." No lez stereotype goes unmocked in this hilare self-referential queer serial, which chronicles the dramas in and around a coffeeshop in fictional Sappho, Massachusetts.
In addition to acting in Room For Cream, Sacha's also a member of the creative team behind the series, the Dyke Division of the Two-Headed Calf, and she will be co-writing the next episode (Episode # 4, May 8) along with Jess Barbagallo and Barbara Lanciers.
