K8 Hardy stopped in today to have her roots touched up. She ain't no square with her corkscrew hair. As the two opening nights approach, patrons, artists and past Biennial participants are flocking to Seagull for those last-minute adjustments. Filmmaker Elisabeth Subrin also breezed in and out today sharing some of the yet-to-be unveiled secrets of her upcoming film project. This has been an exhilarating week at the salon and we can't wait for the party.
And below is a kind of backward inpiration that K8 found in a Berlin flea market. It's a photo of just what Shaun Surething and K8 of the Hair Der Kunst collaberation have been working on. Crazy! We can't believe our project dates back almost a century...
But hey, that's the style arc for ya'.
See ya soon.
